Quick Start Guide
Get up and running with Altara in 5 minutes. Follow these 5 steps to create your first AI renovation render and share it with a client.
Navigate Your Dashboard
After logging in, you'll land on your Dashboard. This is your command center showing recent activity, property stats, and unified review triage.
- The sidebar on the left provides quick access to all sections
- Click the Altara logo to return to the dashboard from anywhere
- Your credits balance is shown in the user menu (bottom left)
Add Your First Property
Properties are the foundation of Altara. Each property represents a real estate listing with its address, photos, and rooms.
- Go to Properties → Click "Add Property"
- Enter the address and upload a cover photo
- Add rooms with approximate dimensions for better AI realism
Clean the Photo
Every photo you add is cleaned by the tool you pick for it, and the run starts as soon as the photo has one. Pristine Clean clears the clutter and leaves the furnishings in place; Foundation Lab strips the space back to an empty architectural shell for a full renovation.
- Review the cleaned image in the Dashboard or Property page
- Click "Approve" once the result looks right for the tool you picked
- Use the "Refine" brush tool to help the AI with anything it missed
Generate AI Renovations
The AI Studio is where the magic happens. Select a room that was stripped to an empty shell, choose a renovation style, and let AI create photorealistic renders.
- Open a room and click "Open Studio"
- Choose style, lighting, and color palette
- Click "RENOVATE ROOM" and wait ~30 seconds for results
- Approved designs are automatically upscaled to 4K resolution
Create and Share Proposals
Bundle your best renovation renders into a professional proposal and share it with clients via a magic link.
- Navigate to the "Proposals" tab on your Property page
- Select the best 4K renders to include in the presentation
- Publish the proposal and copy the magic link for your client
- Download the automatically generated PDF brochure for offline use
